Wildflower Babysitting is based in Detroit Lakes, MN and our business began as a free national service in July of 2002. Then, in the summer of 2009, we limited our services to the Fargo-Moorhead region and quickly grew to serve the United States and Canada. At first, we were not aware of how many families were looking for caregivers or how many caregivers were looking for jobs. We came up with a solution that gives families the ability to find caring, dependable caregivers in their area who are passionate about their field of work. Wildflower Babysitting was created with quality, convenience, and care in mind.

Behind the Scenes

Mariah, better known as “Mariah Poppins” when referred to by the families and children she has since nannied and babysat for, founded Wildflower Babysitting back in 2002 when she was a sitter herself. Mariah has a love for music, writing, the theater, and most of all, children. She continues to nanny for various families in the Fargo-Moorhead area while still maintaining the Wildflower Babysitting business.
